We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to coordinate all provider credentialing activities, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and timely participation within the healthcare network. This role requires maintaining accuracy in credentialing and re-credentialing processes, managing confidential provider information, and supporting credentialing committee operations.

Position is Temp to Perm

 

Compensation:  $30 - $33 Per Hour

 

Schedule:

 

Hybrid: 2 days in-office, 3 days remote
Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (ongoing assignment needs)

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate and manage the provider credentialing and re-credentialing process to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Investigate and resolve credentialing or enrollment delays promptly.
  • Maintain accurate demographic and credentialing databases.
  • Handle confidential information for Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and other staff with discretion.
  • Prepare and organize documentation for Credentialing Committee review.
  • Maintain logs, records, and documentation to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
  • Generate productivity and issue reports for management review.
  • Stay current with industry policies, standards, and regulations related to provider credentialing and enrollment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in provider credentialing.
  • Experience in a health plan or clinical credentialing setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
