Temporary Provider Contract Specialist- Hybrid

We are seeking a Temporary Provider Contract Specialist to support provider contract development, negotiation, and management. This role is critical to ensuring network adequacy, contract compliance, and strong provider relationships. The position includes coverage of both outpatient clinic and home care provider needs.

This position is temp to perm.

Compensation:  $30 - $33 Per Hour

Schedule:

·         Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

·         Hybrid (1–2 days in office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate provider contracts in compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintain contract records, databases, and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure contract terms align with operational and clinical needs.
• Monitor contract performance, identify issues, and support resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with network expansion, provider onboarding, and related managed care activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare provider contracting, managed care, or a related role.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid required; health plan/managed care experience preferred.
• Vendor/provider contracting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems.
