Temp to Perm Medical Assistant - Chinese Speaking is a MUST

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will perform routine medical assistant duties along with specialized tasks, supporting providers and ensuring quality patient care. Chinese speaking is a MUST for this role to effectively communicate with our diverse patient population. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Compensation:  $23-27 Per hour pending experience

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine medical assistant functions, including patient intake and vital signs.
• Venipuncture and finger stick blood draws, including proper capping, labeling, and handling of specimens.
• Conduct EKGs and accurately record results.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards.
• Provide patient education and support as directed by the provider.
• Perform additional administrative or clinical duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, specimen handling, and EKGs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and provide compassionate patient care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.
