We are seeking professional and enthusiastic Event Staff to provide on-site guest services support for our event and awards ceremony in Elmhurst, NY. This role is key to ensuring a seamless, polished, and welcoming experience for all attendees, including executive leadership and honored guests.

 

Compensation:  $35-$42 Per Hour

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist with event set-up, including preparation and organization of event materials.
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive and professional first impression.
  • Manage the registration table, verify guest lists, distribute materials, and address attendee inquiries.
  • Provide directions and general assistance to guests throughout the venue.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Support event coordinators with last-minute adjustments or special requests.
  • Ensure all assigned areas remain organized, clean, and presentable during the event.
  • Collaborate with other event staff to ensure smooth event flow and guest satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Coursework or certification in hospitality, event management, or communications preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, event support, or administrative assistance required.
    • Prior experience supporting corporate or executive-level events strongly preferred.
