We are seeking an experienced Temporary Regional Field Nurse Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervisory oversight, and direct patient care across home-based healthcare services in New York.

Compensation:  $65-$80+

This position is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical assessment, home care, leadership, and care coordination skills.

Position Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 40
  • Setting: Home-based care, clinical practice, and diagnostic/treatment settings as assigned
  • Travel: Required throughout the designated service area
  • Additional Coverage: Occasional evenings, weekends, nights, and on-call coverage may be required

Service Areas

Travel may be required throughout designated areas, including:

  • Bronx, Westchester, and Upper Manhattan
  • Queens, Brooklyn, and Lower Manhattan
  • Queens and Long Island

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical oversight, supervision, and quality monitoring for home-based nursing services and field staff.
  • Conduct supervisory field visits, evaluate staff competencies, and provide training and support to clinical and paraprofessional team members.
  • Review clinical documentation and care delivery to ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and organizational standards.
  • Provide direct patient care as needed, including assessments, wound care, medication management, and patient education.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, care coordinators, community partners, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Identify gaps or concerns in care delivery and collaborate with leadership to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and provide additional coverage or support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
  • 1–2 years of home care or similar healthcare experience preferred
  • Experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred
  • Active, unrestricted New York Registered Nurse license
  • Completion of NYSED-approved infection control coursework
  • Current New York State driver's license and reliable vehicle required
