We are seeking an experienced temp to perm Medical Assistant to join our clinical team in Decatur, GA. If you enjoy working directly with patients and supporting providers in a fast-paced primary care or urgent care setting, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms using proper sterile/aseptic techniques.
- Assist providers with office-based procedures.
- Administer immunizations to patients of all ages.
- Support basic sterilization, cleaning, and autoclaving procedures.
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record.
- Help maintain an efficient, patient-focused clinical environment.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma/GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience; primary care or urgent care preferred.
- Medical Assistant certification required where applicable; AAMA preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire where required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and patient-service skills.
Employee Health Requirements:
Hepatitis
B vaccination/immunity, recent negative TB test, and annual influenza and
COVID-19 vaccination documentation are required in accordance with company
policy.
Compensation & Benefits: $25–$27
per hour + comprehensive benefits.
